The balloon soars up to 500 feet (150 meters) providing a breathtaking 20+ mile panoramic view of Niagara Falls. On a clear day, you can see as far as the Alleghany Plateau foothills beyond the city of Buffalo skyline and Lake Ontario with Toronto in the distance  

Each Fallsview Balloon ride lasts 15 minutes, including ascent and descent, with much of the time spent at your maximum altitude to give passengers ample time to walk around, take photos and videos, while enjoying the scenery and the experience of soaring high above with breathtaking views of Niagara Falls and surrounding region.

The high-test aluminum and composite gondola can accommodate up to 30 passengers plus pilots for each ride, based on rider weights.

Yes! Our gondola ramps are designed to accept wheelchairs up to 25.5 inches (63.5 centimeters) wide for easy access. As we want to share the joy of flight with riders of all abilities, should a wheelchair be wider than our ramps, we provide wheelchairs at the Fallsview Balloon that fit our ramps and allow everyone to soar above Niagara Falls. 

It is recommended to dress accordingly, especially in Fall, Winter, and Spring, as there can be a drastic difference between the temperature at the ground and at the altitudes the Fallsview Balloon flies.  

The Fallsview Balloon is capable of flying in a wide range of weather conditions, including rain and snow. However, for safety reasons, it will not operate when thunderstorms are nearby or during periods of high winds. Passenger comfort and safety remain our top priority.

If for any reason we are unable to fly after you have booked a flight, every ticket is valid for one year after the time of purchase. 

Safety is our number one priority! The Fallsview Balloon ride adheres to strict safety regulations to ensure a secure experience for all passengers of all ages. It is filled with inert helium; the same nonflammable gas used in party balloons. A net and an aluminum guardrail surround the passenger gondola, and the balloon is operated by trained pilots and ground crew who take each and every passenger and their own safety seriously.
